Karen Smith, President of Nova 401(k) Associates, will be a member of a panel discussion titled “Why is Work the Easier Side of Work/Life Balance?” on May 24, 2011 at ASPPA’s Women Business Leader Forum (‘WBLF’) in Boulder, Colorado. The other panelists are Katrina Moody of Retirement Plan Administrators, LLC of Atlanta, and Georgia and Sue Perry of Edberg Associates, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. The panel will be moderated by best-selling author Fawn Germer.
The WBLF allows 401(k) TPA business owners and leaders to attend general sessions on timely topics such as being a better leader, mentoring junior staff, improving customer service, and implementing operational and marketing past practices. General sessions are followed by interactive round table discussions where attendees can discuss the issues in more depth.
Karen said, “I am really looking forward to attending the WBLF and participating on the Work/Life Panel. I attended the WBLF last year in San Antonio for the first time and was really impressed. Before attending the WBLF, I had this vision that the conference was lighter in content than other business owner conferences. However, the content was great and the format was very interactive. The WBLF is a tremendous conference for 401(k) TPAs, and I am excited to be part of it.”
Kim Davis, Marketing Director and Shareholder of Nova 401(k) Associates’ Dallas office, will also attend.
