Cameron Barghi
Retirement Consultant & Shareholder
Cameron Barghi is a Retirement Plan Consultant and Shareholder for Nova 401(k) Associates. He has worked in the retirement plan industry since 2012 and was hired on by Nova as a Defined Benefit Specialist. He has experience in plan administration for Defined Benefit and 401(k) plans including annual compliance testing, 5500 reporting, benefit calculations, plan design consulting, and plan implementation. Cameron is credentialed as a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Tax-Exempt and Governmental Plan Consultant (TGPC), Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA).
Cameron grew up in San Antonio and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he majored in Mathematics and minored in Statistics. He then continued on to earn a Master’s Degree in Statistics. Prior to entering the retirement plan industry, Cameron was a Regional Manager for a dental manufacturing company and also taught high school Calculus and Statistics at Texas Military Institute.
Cameron currently lives in Houston with his wife Lindsey and two children, Luke and Isabelle. He was a Division I collegiate swimmer and in his spare time still races and gives swimming lessons. Cameron is also a fishing guide and professional tournament angler and spends much of the spring, summer and fall months in the saltwater along the Texas coast.
